Running wish as tcl command interpreter

Can I run ‘wish’ as my TCL command interpreter?

It looks like I ‘almost’ can.  iTest brings up console and TK graphics windows.  However, I can’t control the graphics window at all and it fails to load a .dll file.  This all works fine if I launch wish from outside of iTest (a DOS window.)  Of course, wish opens another window which I can’t control from iTest UNLESS I open wish from iTest,  kind of a conundrum.

Hi ,

You can set the interperter path globally in preference page, iTest->Session Types->Tcl Shell" and select the "Use specified Tcl interperter and provide the valid wish tcl interperter path.

Also, you set locally on Tcl shell session profile  to use wish tcl interperter.

Start session profile should start the wish interperter and you can see another window opening along with console.

Please post the following output here after giving "package require Tk" on iTest wish console and also make sure you have set the proper PATH for iTest to pick up?

I have attached screen which works fine for me and do not get any .dll related errors?

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Vidya
