Connect to existing session - is it possible?

Is it possible to connect in STC GUI to session/ports that are created by STC API?

I create some config using API and I want to verify it manually by connecting to that session - but when I reserve the same ports in GUI then whole config is cleared. Is there a way to preserve it?
