Explanation of iMIX Seed column in STC GUI

Can someone explain how the Seed column is used to control the sequence of transmitted frame sizes for an iMIX distribution.

FAQ13945 only says to change the seed value to chage the sequence but it does not explain how this value is used.

The same seed will allow a repeatable test by keeping the same sequence of frame sizes. A different seed will cause the sequence of frames sizes to change from the previous seed.
