CyberFlood Advanced Fuzzing License and Endpoint for Advanced Fuzzing.ova

I have a few questions about CyberFlood advanced fuzzing.

- What license is -UUID=xxx.p12? We know that you need a license to use advanced fuzzing features. What is the difference between the advanced fuzzing license and the xxx.p12 license?

- I would like to know what the 'CyberFlood Virtual Endpoint for Advanced Fuzzing OVA' file is for. Do I need a specific license to use this file?

Thanks in advance.

@Soobin_Shim Hi,

The *.p12 "license" is really a SSL cert to enable the communication between the CF controller and the Virtual End Point (VEP). This is provided by support.

No license is need to install the VPE OVA image, but you do need a Fuzzing protocol license and the Fuzzing Protocol content pack, either online from the TC or the offline pack from the CSC.

Are installing fuzzing for a new customer? if so who is the customer? and what protocols are they planning to fuzz?

Thank you for answer.

My customers are interested in advanced fuzzing features. But I do not know whether the customer purchases or not.

If I need a PoC for my customer, I need to know more about advanced fuzzing.

- What is the purpose of the -VEP (Virtual End Point) ova file? Is it a fuzzing-only CFv?

VEP is the Virtual Machine that you deploy, to generate the fuzzing traffic towards DUT.

The test port on VEP needs to be mapped/connected to the DUT port.

On the Cyberflood controller,

1. Install Fuzzing license and .P12 authorization file

2. Create a queue with the VEP port

3. Configure the fuzz test and map the queue.

Once the test starts, the VEP sends the fuzzing traffic to DUT and collects the responses.

@Soobin_Shim Hi, The VEP is a virtual device for fuzzing only, it will not work with any other tests.

I would to suggest you talk to Hongbo Ren if you should be proposing Fuzzing solutions.
