Empty histogram bins on latency test in RFC2544

I use the FX3-QSFP28-4 board with its ports on the 4x10G configuration.

I am trying to run the latency test of the RFC2544 benchmarking wizard. Though I can set up the boundary of the latency bins, they are never filling up, and stay at zero. This histogram give no result.

In the all traffic analyser i can have a latency histogram and i can see the distribution of packets in those bins, though the bins are setup through the calibrate button, I can not find how to do it manually.

- How do I run the RFC2544 benchmarking test to have results other than zero?

- How to manually set the bins in the traffic analyser environement?

this the answer in french that i had from our contact at spirent :

"Le RFC2544 défini une méthode de test ainsi que le type et le format des statistiques générées dans le rapport final. Les histogrammes n’en font pas parti.

Le menu de distribution des valeurs de latence présenté dans le Wizard du test est donc certainement pour permettre une analyse plus détaillée des résultats de la latence.

Le fait que ces compteurs restent à 0 est peut-être lié aux changements apportés récemment dans la méthode d’analyse des histogrammes. Il est possible que le wizard de test n’est pas été modifié afin de le garder compatible avec les anciennes cartes et config client. Comme vous utilisez une carte récente, il ne serait donc plus compatible.

Maintenant, pour être honnête, c’est la première fois que l’on me pose la question sur ces compteurs et ce n’est qu’une supposition."
