STC client gui not opening up - says connection to server failed.client application must close

Hello Experts,

I have installed STC 4.61 version on my widows 10 laptop. Now its not opening up.

Its throwing error 'Connection to Server failed, client application must close.'

This is exact error as mentioned in the other thread 'https://support.spirent.com/SC_KnowledgeView?cid=null&id=FAQ10909'. Somehow the given solutions are not working for me.

Can you pls help.

I have met a customer issue same as FAQ 10909 described.

Customer installed STC 5.24 application on a VM of windows server 2012 R2 standard and met the issue.

I followed the first 5 steps guided in FAQ 10909 and then the STC GUI can startup normally.
