STC Streamblocks not running at specified load in iTest.

I'm generating traffic on to a physical 100G interface using an STC session in iTest. In the addStreamBlock properties menu, I have specified the interface to run at half load (which should be 50G per port), but it is consistently only running at around 10% load. I have attempted to change the load parameter, but it will always run at 10% no matter what configuration.

I've also tried to reproduce this results in Spirent Test Center 4.75 itself, but I do not run into this issue there, it only happens in an STC session in iTest.

This issue is present in iTest 7.1 and 7.2.

Hello @nwiggins

The versions supported for STC in iTest are :

For 7.1

For 7.2

Please try it with a supported version of STC.

@ovidiu_constantin

Maybe I'm a bit confused. But are you saying that STC 4.75 is causing issues with iTest 7.2.1? I am able to use STC 4.75 with iTest 7.2 just fine aside from the link speed issues. I would like to avoid a firmware update to our SPT-N11U unit if possible.

@nwiggins

It might be that other features don't work as well just that you are not using them.

Or it could be that from 4.75 to 4.85 /4.80 communication between iTest and STC is done differently to configure port speed.

In any case,we cannot open a ticket with our engineering team whilst using uncompatible versions
