Hi,
I am new to Spirent TestCenter. I have looked around the website for any documentation on this and also in the forums if it has been asked before but did not find any useful info. All I could find was this link "https://www.spirent.com/Products/TestCenter/Platforms/Automation".
I have the testcenter software installed on my windows system, and I found there is a folder inside the installation "C:\Program Files (x86)\Spirent Communications\Spirent TestCenter 4.59\Spirent TestCenter Application\API\Java", but it doesn't have more that 4 small java files.
Can someone please point me in the right direction as to where I can download the full Native API and getting started documentations etc.
Thank you,
Santosh

The Native APIs are contained with the "Spirent TestCenter Application for Windows or Spirent TestCenter Application for Linux" downloads. The STC GUI will only run on Windows, however if you install the Spirent TestCenter Application for Windows on you Windows based PC it installs the GUI AND the APIs. If you install the Spirent TestCenter Application for Linux on a Linux system only the APIs are installed.

Santosh,
The APIs are contained within the Spirent Application installs available on the CSC.
The documentation is also available on the CSC:
The Documentation Object descriptions contained within the documentation are generic. Most if not all of the examples contained within the documentation TCL examples.
There is also the, Essentials of Spirent TestCenter Automation (TRN10277 )web-based course, available on the CSC that provides an overview of the Automation process which includes the Documentation .

Hi Lenny,
Thanks for the reply. From this link, what I understood was that there are two different API's, HLTAPI and a Native API. I looked at the CSC downloads before, but there is only HLTAPI but I could not find any downloads for Native API? Do you know whats the difference between those two or are they the same? If not, can you point me to a link where I can download both, compare them and see which best fits my needs.
BTW, thanks for info on the web-based course. Will definitely check that out.
