With STCv 4.62, the virtual license controller is configured on the GUI. When I use iTest 5.3 to run a test case with STCv ports, it erases the license controller setting. To run the test again, I have to reconfigure the virtual license controller address on the GUI. Is there a special setting for the virtual license controller address on iTest 5.3?
Yes, the system variable (SPIRENTD_LICENSE_FILE) fixes the STCv license controller error on iTest. I am able to run the STCv test multiple times now. However, it still erases the virtual license server setting on the STC GUI. Thanks.

Officially, the documentation states that iTest supports up to STC 4.56. However, you can try using STCv 4.62 as well. (We have used it and not found any issues so far)

Once this has been done and saved, you can open iTest and run the STC session with virtual license.
