Is Diagnostic Loopback supposed to work on STCv ports?

Hello all,

I am using STCv 4.54 on an VMware ESXi 5.5 hypervisor and when I put the port in "diagnostic loopback" I don't get any packets capture on the port. Rather I still see the packets being received on the other STCv port I have connected back-to-back.

Is this supposed to work?
Is there some special configuration needed in VMware?

Hi Mike,

I don't think diagnostic loopback will work on STCv. Believe the diagnostic loopback could be working on the hardware level on phy STC.
