I am wondering if there are ftp/sftp sessions in spirent iTest. I found a plug-in of ftp in FAQ, but it is not working.
Here is the FAQ link
@Leo_Xu, I have followed the steps provided in the above FAQ link, able to add File transfer session profile in iTest (4.2 and 5.1). Could you please share the error screenshot you are facing.
There is no error. But in the session type, there is still no file transfer session :(
My version is 5.0. I will try 5.1 to see if it is ok.
I didn't know this existed. I see that it is unsupported. Who developed this?
I guess that it was available fanfare store. It is working perfectly for FTP session. Unfortunately, sftp session is not supported. If iTest can include ftp/sftp session in next release, it would be great.
Could you please send an email to our support team at support@spirent.com to raise a feature request on this.
Hello Andy,
Since this plugin is working in iTest 5.1. I am wondering if i can use it in iTest 5.1 for commercial use.
Regards
Leo
I'd say use it, but since it's not officially supported, it's "at your own risk". Please submit the feature request as @bhavani.geepalem suggests.
Hey, didn't want to open same thread, I've followed same FAQ, but on step when i open as Admin, iTest (5.1)does NOT start with following error attached.
