Avalanche automation: what do the options -interfaceDisplayString and -interfaceLocationString do?

Hello all,

In the last lines of config.tcl's proc ConfigTest, the av:perform SetInterfaceAttributes command has the options "-interfaceDisplayString" and "-interfaceLocationString".

  • What do these do?
  • I couldn't find any reference to them in the Avalanche Automation Object or Programmer's Reference manuals. Are they documented somewhere?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Cat,

Thanks for the reference. I think I didn't find it because I used the search string with a "-" preceding the option.

In any case, it looks like a user could change "physIf" and leave those strings alone and the test should work.

Thanks again,

Mike
