One of our customer has inquired to us about the symptom below: [Test Config] STC Port 1/1 --> DUT[A] --> DUT[B] --> STC Port 1/2 Packets are transmitted from Port1/1 to Port1/2. [Symptom] When the phase was shifted by 20ppm on DUT [B] while packets were being transmitted, "Link flap..." appeared at Port 1/2. Packets were dropped temporarily at that time. [Question from customer] What caused Link flap? If there is the maximum acceptable phase shift when packets are received, please let us know (e.g. +/- 100ppm, the same as the Ethernet standard). Similarly, if there is an upper limit to the phase shift speed when packets are received, please let us know (e.g. 100kHz/us or lower). Model = FX-100GO-F2 Version = 4.46
Any information on this will be helpful.
