Upgrading from ILO 2.0 to Velocity 5.0
Here are some notes that I took when upgrading from an ILO 2.0 (no iTest Play) installation to a Velocity 5.0 installation.
- Define one of the users as "super-admin" under Authentication - this user replaces the built-in admin user in ILO 2.0
- Specify the Mongo database host under Database - I used my ITE host's IP address for this
- Enable "Delete and recreate current Execution database" under Database - I couldn't login to Velocity 5.0 without setting this, as I was getting an error like "failed to connect to authentication service"

I have followed the same steps and unable to get the error "failed to connect to authentication service".
For us, we got the same error, when we unchecked the option "Enable LDAP Server" in iTE server.
I believe this error message will occur in the following ways:
- If LDAP configuration settings are changed or velocity server is unable to reach LDAP server IP address which is in iTE.
- If we power on both iTE and Velocity servers at a time in vsphere client.
Could you please restart the Velocity server and let us know the results.
