We want to know whether OSPF sessions are getting reset or not.
Do STC have a specific counter for this or any other way to know the OSPF flap count ?
Thanks,
Arun

For OSPF session flap you can monitor DD (Database Description) packet counts. Everytime an OSPF router restarts it will send out a fixed number of DD packets at the start based on the number of LSAs being advertised. If the DD packet count is increasing over time then the OSPF session is flapping.
