pass count and fail count in summarize output

Hi ,

The output of the summarize command is shown as

Completion Result: Fail

Test Case:        testcases-batch

Location:          project://my_project/test_suites/testcases-batch.fftc

Owner:

Start Time:        Wed Jul 06 11:28:36 IST 2011

Duration:          00:10:59

Total Issues:      8

Report Id:         5572

Execution issues for this test case:

Is it possible to get the below paramaeters in the summarize command along with the ones shown above?

1) total report items

2) Pass/Ok

3) Fail/Error

These parameters are seen in the summary of the testreport of any testcase.

Thanks

Chaitra

Hi @chaitra te,

I assume that in testcases-batch.fftc you have a series of 'run' commands for iTest test cases. If my assumption is correct, could you try adding the summarize command after all the 'run's inside testcases-batch.fftc file and see what the output is? It should have what you are looking for.

Thanks,

George

I actually found the info/warning/error/all counts by issuing an "eval puts [info issueCount warning]".

Hi Chaitra,

We can not modify the output of the summarize command step. To view those details you will have to see the test report.

Hey, Chaitra, I'm filing a feature request for this.  I can't guarantee this will go in any particular release, but this at least shouldn't get lost.

Thanks Kevin.

This feature would be very helpfull , with out this it is difficult to look through  the entire report in case we are running batch from a testcase , to find the number of passed and failed count.

Regards

Chaitra
