How do I handle a message “You are using an unsupported command-line flag” When using iTest to open a session on Chrome?

1) I created a script that runs on Firefox 2) The script was copied to a new name 3) I created a new session profile with Browser Type = Chrome a) Replay Browser=Chrome b) No other fields were set 4) The page on Chrome never open, there is a warning “You are using an unsupported command-line flag” presented 5) Chrome is version 36.0 6) iTest is 4.31.

In this case my suggestion is You can create a testcase from iTest selenium session directly using supported Firefox version (FF v15 to v25), and replay the test cases using external browsers (IE and Chrome). Below are the supported browser versions for iTest 4.3.1. According to our Engineering, following are the supported browser version details supported in Selenium for iTest 4.3.1: • IE8, IE9, IE10 (IE10 is recommended) • Firefox 14 to Firefox 25 on Windows. Firefox 14 and Firefox 17 is supported (tested) on RHEL 5 • We only tested on the lasted Chrome. For now chrome 30 works well. • Safari is NOT supported yet • Capture only works on Firefox. Replay on Firefox, IE and Chrome.

Thanks, I recorded a script with Firefox 22. I tried to replay it with Chrome that I just installed, but that was version 36. I’ll check to see if it is acceptable for us to test with old versions of Firefox and Chrome.

The iTest Selenium session doesn't support Chrome version 36 as if now. Could you please try with Chrome 30. Note: Chrome is not supported in Linux.
