ref: kb doc ID FAQ14786 Recommended pcap for the CPU card would be 5MB Virtual depends on the PC, 5MB is again recommended however in theory much larger pcaps could be used per core. Start small and scale up, you'll know quickly if you're attempting to use a pcap that is too large.
