Is there a way to create a device that uses NDP address autoconfiguration to derive a global IPv6 address. DHCPv6 to get global IPv6 prefixes for LAN clients, and PPP to get a link-local IPv6 address. Do we have an option to create in STC for emulated device with dhcpv6, ppp and NDP AA. Pls advise.
The PPPoX device has a check box called Enable Auto Fill IPv6 which appear to do the address autoconfiguration. With this checked, it will send a Router Solicitation then take the info from the received Router Advertisement to create a global address. Is this what you are asking for?
Hello Mike, Are you referring to the Auto-Fill option which is provided in the screenshot? If the same is the option, let me try and update you. Thanks Ruban![alt text] : /storage/temp/4186-autofill1.png
I could not find the option. Please see the screenshot. Also when I click "Ipv6 Autoconfiguration" from device list PPPoE automatically unchecked. ![alt text] : /storage/temp/4185-ndpdhcpv6pppox.jpg
