iTest table mapping problem
I created a response map for the wireshark "show details" command. I found iTest can not evaluate those lines which are empty in their first column. Please see attached files. Anyone can help? Thanks! ![alt text][1] [1]: /storage/attachments/4140-missed%20mapping%20in%20test%20case.jpg
Aha, when I change the "Expected Response" setting from the default "Use the response map library configured for the session" to "Use a response map file" and specify the response map, the problem disappears. What a funny thing, why I need to specify the response map?![alt text][1] [1]: /storage/temp/4143-setting+for+response+map.jpg
In general, if specifying a response map file solves your problem, there is some other issue at play. It could be applicability rules, it could be dependencies, or it could be that the session profile is not set up to look for the response maps in the right place. 1. does the response map live in a project that is declared as a response map library in the project's properties dialog? 2. does the session profile you're using for the session point to the project that contains the response map? 3. did you rebuild your project to update any dependencies?
