How to Reconnect telnet session after router reboot?

Current behavior : Commanding reboot from telnet session results step time out then fail the test. Expected behavior : After reboot, i should be able to reconnect to the DUT after expected interval of reboot time ( this is random in nature) Spent lots of time finding the solution, but no use. 1. Close your DUT active session with exit and close command . 2. Ping your DUT unitil response came. 3. Relaunch your DUT session with Open Command

Sleep is the next command to the i-test after reboot. there are various situation where test will fail before reaching sleep...example certain events step timeout OnApplicableMapsNotFound..and many more....Therefore your ans is not correct to this question. :(

Hi Manikyam, Please try by adding the sleep command after the "reboot" step because, after rebooting the device, it will take some time to connect to the DUT. Note: iTest by default will take time in "seconds" for the sleep command.
