Anyone with experience installing STC GUI over Wine on Linux?

Please share your experience if you have one. This is what I tried - but was not successful. Looks like I need to resolve some dll dependencies? Any suggestions are welcome. 1. Running Ubuntu (as VM on Parallels) 2. Installed Wine 3. Installed Spirent Windows GUI - Wine executed the .exe and even created desktop icons. 4. Clicking icons results in nothing happening. 5. Running from command line causes it to complain about a number of dlls missing with a .NET reference 6. Installed cross-platform .NET mono libraries for Linux 7. No avail, still complaining about more missing .dlls

I suspect that, in order to install the Spirent STC GUI, one would first need to install a version of Internet Explorer on WINE. The link that @mallikarjunarao provided is pretty good. 1. Start from a clean Ubuntu install 2. Follow the guide at http://askubuntu.com/questions/316025/how-to-install-and-configure-wine 3. Install MS Internet Explorer on WINE 4. Then try installing Spirent STC GUI
