Is it possible to create a global error search?

Is it possible to create an "error search" of some sort that detects a specific error/string for the entire iTest ( not just in a test case) so that when an error randomly appears anywhere, iTest detects it and sends out a a specific command? Thanks in advance.

In iTest there is no such option to detect and sending out command. We could search a string and replace it with other but we could not make iTest to throw an error if it finds the particular string.

Is it possible if after the search is successful, iTest replace this string with a blank? If this is possible how would I do this?

If my understanding is correct you want to search and replace a string in iTest. We can achieve this by using Search option. Open search option tab from top menu and follow below instructions to achieve this. ![alt text][1] ![alt text][2] Using above option "show" string has been replaced with "sh" in all the files located under the workspace. Hope it helps for you! [1]: /storage/temp/3718-search.png [2]: /storage/temp/3719-replace.png
