Does iTest 4.2 require specific license server version?

I downloaded and installed iTest 4.2 for linux and setup licensing to point to our existing license server (win2k8 using flexera software v11.8). When I start iTest on the linux machine it says "Can't checkout license for selected product edition" - the license server has status of OK. However, when I start up iTest 4.1.4 on a Windows machine and point it to the same license server it checks out the license successfully.

Yes. iTest 4.2 requires new licenses and flexera software v11.10. iTest 4.1 licenses will now work with iTest 4.2. The new flexera software v11.10 is available in CSC (support.spirent.com). Please contact your sales or send an email to support@spirent.com to upgrade your licenses by providing the MAC id of the license server machine. iTest 4.2 licenses are generated based on the MAC id of the machine/system as 4.1 licenses are based on the ffhostid.
