In other words, how do I monitor questions tagged to a particular Topic? Is there an email or RSS notification function for specific Topics, or do I simply have to check periodically?
How do I get notifications when a new item is tagged with Topics I'm interested in?
The design update in late 2014 changed where to find this functionality.
From any page, click the "Explore" icon, then choose "Topics". From there, you'll get a sortable list of the Topics in the Spirent Forums. Find and click on the Topic (alternatively, you can click on the Topic of interest when you're viewing a question). When you click on the Topic, you'll get a page where every question has that Topic tagged. You can now follow using emails or using an RSS feed (there are many RSS feed tools, including many browsers, common email clients and Web site portals-- do an Internet search for "RSS reader" to find one).
- To follow using emails, click "Follow" on the Topic page
- To follow using RSS, click the RSS icon (and follow the steps for adding a feed to your RSS tool)
There are at least two options: via email or via RSS feed **Step 1)** Go to the Tags page (main menu). Then click the tag to see everything under the tag.
