Spirent Test Center (STC) 3.40 interoperability with iTest 3.4.2

Has anyone from Fanfare checked interoperability with iTest 3.4.2 and STC 3.40? I'm looking for an informal - yes we tried it and it appears to work.

 

I know it's not "officially" supported but we need to upgrade our STC chassis to support traffic features that are not working correctly with STC 3.30.

 

I need to know if we stay at STC 3.30 or move forward to 3.40. If I can't upgrade then it puts us in a bad situation.

As you pointed iTest does not officially supports STC 3.40 yet,  but if you are in bad shape with STC 3.30 due to its limitations I suggest to move on to STC 3.40.

Even though you might see some issues with STC 3.40, I believe we can suggests workarounds for you.

Excellent, I will move forward at my own risk based on what you are saying. I'm only using basic functionality right now so that should minimize the risk - hopefully. We just started using STC to automate so my scripts are very straightforward for now.
