Need Help with Smartbits Testing

Community,

 

Smartbit Rookie tester here.  I have a unit on loan and need some basic help.

 

We are looking to perform some performance tests on some switches.  We currently have 2 10 GIG Cards and 1 Copper 4 1x 1GB card.  

 

Can you generate more than 44 GIGs of throughput traffic on this Smartbit 6000? We are looking to test 384 Gbps.

I believe that one chassis can support up for 48 Gigabit ports or 6 10Gigabit ports.  So if you want to get over 60Gbps aggregate, you need to get multiple chassis's and daisy-chain them together.

 

You may be best contacting Spirent for more information.  I believe that their newer TestCenter product goes to much higher densities.
