Specifying the directory for the Results generated from RFC 2544 in STC

I have the STC RFC 2544 test working in an iTest test case.  I noticed the Results folder is being put in the %ITEST_HOME% directory.  Is there a way to change the location of this folder?

Also, the results subfolder appears to be generated from the process ID with the time and date the test was started.  While this is OK, the time and process information is not available in the test case so finding it is somewhat problematic.  Is there a say to specify the Results subfolder name as well?

In the STC GUI, we can change the directory where the results would get saved. Tools->Options Results Tab/page - Fill in the additional base path as your desired path/directory and make "save result/output files relative to" as "None" Thanks, Sreerag

Hi Jeff,

One work around for this is to use sequencer and in the sequencer use a command "save result". In the "save result" command we can specify the location and folder name where we want to save the result.

Hope it will help you.

Thanks,

Amresh

Hi Jeff,

Better to use sequencer commands to get the results. We can add 'save results' and browse to particular path to save the results.

Thanks,

Udaya.

Guys,

Thanks for the suggestions.  Unfortunately, I've already tried that.  It seems that when you use the STC Wizard to create the Command Sequencer steps, they are locked and not editable; therefore, there's no way to change the "save results" step in the Command Sequencer....unless someone knows how to bypass the lock!
