Key field issue with block response map

Hi,

I am facing an key issue with attached response map. I created a block response map with interface and mac address in a block and other MEP or MIP lines in another block.

Here my intention is I want to create interface as a key to the response map. But the key interface is not getting applied to second block (ie, MEP or MIP block).

So please let me know how can I make the interface as a key and is applied to its MEP or MIP lines.

Thanks,

Treddy

Keys will be applied to single block. Key will be applied to the tokens in that particular block only and not applicable for another block.

If you want to apply the interface key to the MIP and MEP values, you must take the data in Single block.

Hi, thanks for the help and support. The response map is working fine. But I had one issue with if we have more than one MIP or MEPs for an interface.

If we have more than one MIP or MEPs of an interface, key (ie interface) is not getting applied to the other MIP or MEPs. This is because if we have more than one MIP or MEPs then the interface will become optional.

Can You please let me know is there any other way so that the key can be applied to any number of MIP ot MEPs.

Thanks inadvance,

TReddy

Hi,

If we have multiple blocks then we can make a key in one block applied to another blocks wi the help of custom queries.

Here is the Xpath query path supporting it:

                    "mapped/Block/Body/container/CFM_Stack[IFace/Interface='{0}']/MEP_MIP[Vlan_MEP='{1}']/Domain_association"
