Thanks for the response, issue is resolved.
I installed the iTest with root account, and trying to install the plugins with another account and that is the reason i see this issue,
later i installed the plugins with same root account and the issue is not seen.
This installation is on Linux machine. and these plugins are cisco and fanfare developed plugins for internal automation use.

Sorry for delayed response. Could you please confirm the below information ...
1. Operating System - If this is Windows 7 OS, then i would recommend you to "Run as an administrator" for iTest.
In order to be able to install from an update site you will have to start iTest with administrative privileges.
To do this,right-click on the iTest shortcut and select Run as Administrator.
2. What Plugins are you trying to install ?
3. is it through normal install process or from using update site?
