Web GUI interface question

Hi, Im new to iTest and the forums here, so please forgive the crudeness of my question. I apologize in advance if this question has been answered one before. Here it goes:

Im currently using the web GUI interface in iTest to control my Cisco CNR server. Ive been able to capture my required steps (logging in, cfg a dhcp option with a null value, modify server, reload server, logout) however Ive run into  a bit of a snag. My captured step of configuring my DHCP option looks like this (please forgive my lack of picture):

(Action)        (Session)                                               (Description)
Select            CNR.2           name=optionNumber_dhcp-config label=tftp-server [66] (string)

While fundamentally correct, iTest reads the [66] as an invalid substitution field. How can I get it to recognize that the [66] isnt a substitution field, but rather just the complete name of the option im trying to set?? Does that make sense?? I hope so.  Looking for any input that could help me out here, thanks!!

PQ

I just noticed something else that might also be a factor in all of this. While reading [66] as a subsitution would still be an issue, I realized that iTest might be having a seperate issue.  In order to configure my DHCP option , I first have to select it from a drop-down menu and then give it a null value. It seems that iTest might have a problem recognizing the drop-down menu and the proper "clicks" that get the specific option Im looking for. Any thoughts?!?!?  Thanks!!

Hi PQ

Could you please share the test case and the step number you are concerned about. And if possible please share the concerned page source code to get a detail view and this will help us reach out you.

Thank you!
