I know that Automatic Response Maps are new in 3.3.1. Is there a separate license for this feature. Is it not included in the generic response map license?
Thanks!

Yes, Automatic Response is a new feature. And yes, you need to have a license for it; it is not included in the Enterprise Edition which contains the license for the rest of the Response Mapping.
See the responses further down the thread.
Another thing to note is that parts of automatic response mapping are free. iTest automatically maps your response if you have any version of iTest during editing a testcase or executing a testcase. That part if free.
If you want to create a new response map and want to use automatically created response map to be the starting point, then you need iTest Enterprise license.
Hi Vince,
Let me clarify, because the previous posts aren't quite right. Automatic response mapping was a new feature that was added in iTest Enterprise 3.3 -- and it is included by default with the iTest Enterprise licenses and is not a separately licensed module. Customers who were upgrading from iTest Enterprise 3.2 were issued updated licenses by Fanfare Support in order to activate the new automatic response mapping functionality. So if you have iTest Enterprise 3.3 or 3.3.1, you should have automatic response mapping. If you have that edition, and you don't see automatic response mapping, please contact your license administrator or Fanfare Support for an updated license.
The feature that KumarS is alluding to is what we call "intelligent response parsing". It basically utilizes a subset of the automatic response mapping feature (but doesn't allow you to create response maps), and it is available in all editions of iTest.
Hope that helps!
