Flexnet license server error message

Hi

 

A few minutes after starting lmgrd on linux license server, lmstat says "fanfare: Cannot read data from license server system. (-16,287)" then finally following message appears...

(fanfare) Lost connection to lmgrd, heartbeat timeout exired, exiting.
(fanfare) EXITING DUE TO SIGNAL 37 Exit reason 5
(lmgrd) fanfare exited with status 37 (Communications error)
(lmgrd) Since this is an unknown status, license server

 

Different port number is specified in license file to pass vpn box

SERVER this_host COMPOSITE=XXXXXXXXXXXX 27000
VENDOR fanfare PORT=3600

USE_SERVER

 

Right after kicking lmgrd with -c option it seems like lmgrd and vendor daemon successfully started without any error message...

 

What does these message means ?

It turned out that other other process was running on the license server and server was busy.

By killing other busy process, error message went away and license server is running stable.
