No VM Support?

The iTest Installation Doc says under the "Installing iTest on Linux Systems" section that "VMs are not supported."

Does that mean that we don't support running VMs on a Linux Environment, or we don't support running iTest in a Linux VM?

Thanks,

Nick

Although we use VMs to test iTest in house, we don't have resources to support a list of VM hosts and guests. Most people used Windows XP and Red Hat Linux VM guests to test.

Remember that you can't use a node-locked license in a VM.

Also, running a license server on a VM is NOT supported either.

FYI, we have been using various types of host OSs in VM successfully in our regression environment, such as 32/64 bit Win XP, Win server 2003, Vista, Win 7 and 32/64 bit RHEL 4 & 5.
