Can you provide more details about the installation? Is this a new installation and you launch for the first time? Did you install iTest for single user or all users? Is your system Windows XP? Dose your user account have permission to write to the C:\Program Files folder?

From the install log I didn't see any errors. Is this the first time you launch iTest? Do you use the same user account that installs iTest? Can you check whether there is a .eclipse folder in your home directory (C:\Documents and Settings\<user>)?

I think you may be missing some eclipse plugin files.

Can you say which files are missing and what to do?

As per the error log file you may be "com.fnfr.svt.execution_4.0.0" missing.

It can be found at

"C:\Program Files\Fanfare\iTest 4.0\plugins".

Thanks all. Absolutely correct.

That named file is not there.

What to  do now? How to recover?

Thanks Udaya. I got that folder in my installation folder & made a .jar file of that.

I put the new .jar file in the plugins folder with the same name.

And now iTest opens successfully!!!

When I asked .eclipse folder, it's a config folder not Eclipse installation. I assume you don't have it. Could you attach the following file? How many sub-folders do you have in this configuration folder?

C:\Program Files\Fanfare\iTest 4.0\configuration\org.eclipse.equinox.simpleconfigurator\bundles.info

Sorry for the confusion.

Already that bundles INFO file is there.

The configuration folder contains 6 eclipse folders,1 fanfare svt folder,1 .settings folder and 1 configuration file.

Unable to attach the bundles.info file as the forum not allowing that attaching type

Could you get us more information;

What is your platform? Windows/Linux, 32 or 64 bit ?

Is this happened on first launching after iTest 4.0 ?

Have you installed previous iTest version and if you did have the upgrade process had any errors?

Were able to launch iTest 4.0 before or on 2nd launch ?

These information will help us to find out the cause of this issue.

Thanks for reporting this.
