If your network has firewalls that block the default ports used by FlexLM, there are two ways to get around this:

  1. Review port numbers with your IT administrator so the ports can be opened. By default FlexLM uses ports in the range of 27000-270009. These ports are usually safe to be opened. -or-
  2. Define a specific port, and open that port. A user can explicitly specify the port number in the license file on the SERVER line. This modification to the license file can be done at the user's site, without requiring the license file to be re-signed/re-encrypted by Fanfare. This snippet shows how to use specific port 27010:
SERVER this_host COMPOSITE=E1CF9D59EC6A 27010

Hey krish,

By default the active provider is "Native" in iTest

Have you changed this to "Manual" for any specific reason?

Thank You!

Hey Sandeep...Thanks for the reply.'

I might have changed it to Manual. Any way, now I restored it to default and closed the iTest and opened it again. But still I got same alert (You are not connected to Internet. If you dont connect to Internet, it will exit in 5 minutes. Go to Windows-->Prefrences-->blah blah) when at the starting up of iTest. So it exited in 5 minutes.

Thanks,

Krish
